Hey guys,

I am contemplating on making the 97 T/A into a street strip car..I am having some thoughts on this...Eventually the car will be pulled for a weekend only car but I still want to be able to srive it and have some fun. The car has 128K on it but it is mint.

First, the car is all stock except for MSD wires, coil, and some NGK plugs.
I have a set of used bmr bolt-in relocation brackets. I know those will help.

I put a little list together on what I want.

1. pacesetter longtubes with either true duals or a catback
2. cai
3. madz28 tune
4. convo pros and some drag radials
5. boxed lca's

Should this get me into the 8.50 range in the 1/8th?

Once the motor needs a rebuild, I will put a forged kit in it, a good healthy cam and some giggle gas. Hope to be in the 7's with that.

i was almost in the 8.5 range on street tires, stock suspension with a CAI.... thats it... so yea, you can be there and prolly lower...
