My Meziere bit the dust this week It lasted 4yrs(about 10k miles), but I doubt I came anywhere close to the 2500hrs it is rated at. It sure does keep the engine running cool though.

Does anyone have any writeups on removing the water pump, and putting in an EWP? Do you guys notice a difference in cooling, and power as well? I'm wondering if I should get one! I also want to get a radiator flush.

I made this article a while back when I started my install. Its obviously not finished yet and all the pictures that I had taken to add to it were deleted when someone broke into my FTP account. But it will get you through the disassembly process. I'll try to finsih it up at some point.

There, I updated the article with some pics that I found stashed away in my HD that will help people see how to dismantle the pump http://www.mainstreamtopics.com/foru...showtopic=5943 Like I said I will try and get that finished up sometime when life isn't so hectic.

As far as the polished pump, it's hell. I wouldn't make one for myself again let alone anyone else.

Nah, actually now that I know what works well on them I am thinking of doing another one at some point and then selling the one I have on the car now. The one that I did just didn't take well to the sanding. It's as if the cast wasn't really the same as I have seen on others. It just pitted a lot for some reason.
