Electric water pumps So why is it that NO company makes a COMPLETE electric water pump with the housing?
Only option you have is the pump peice itsself not the entire pump like a NICE CSR peice.
The stock LT1/LT4 water pump is UGLY! UGLY! UGLY!
I am sure if a company came out with one a ton of people would be snatching them up

I did a poll on cz28.com a few months ago about who would be interested in a stock converted pump housing mated to an aftermarket electric water pump that would be fully show polished and ready to bolt onto the motor and run straight out of the box. There were more that voted "not interested" than "interested."

I had mine powder coated. looked great and called it a day 
The cost of what you are asking would more then double the price and many would not do it. Not to mention there are at least three different models for the LT1

CSR only cost $169, and i have had it in for quite awhile now... with no problems... plust if my pump goes bad i dont have to pull the hole unit off, just remove the pump bolts and insert the new one... plugs right back in and go....

no the CSR is not a whole unit and yep it will fix the weep hole leak..... the first time you have to pull the whole unit to install the freeze plug and get the shaft out... then if it ever does happen to go you just have to pull the six bolts out and slide the new one and bolt it down...

Okay thanks alot guys. After looking at some other aftermarket Electric water pump most of them appear to be billet an anodized. Why dont you just clean the stock one up a bit and then have it anodized, by a professional or use the spray, or maybe powdercoated. I will probably just paint mine a glossy black.
