Default just thought that i should post this up

here is a link to a site whos owner had a 10k issue with ape engineering.

there is a new engine company victory racing engines that is ran/owned by the person who specifically built the aforementioned motor.

http://www.fbody.com/cgi-bin/anythin...i?msgid=877727

please avoid this engine shop at all costs

mods if this needs to be moved please move it

IF it was only a mishap i wouldnt posting this I am just informing people due to alot of serious issues with the previous shop that he was at ie motors taking months to build missed promises and lies. if you dont know ape responded to his issues with more promises "if a engine is not built by the promised day its free" guarantees and screwed many many people on this websiteout of thousands of dollars and many many motors. and then went under. if you go to that site fbody.com you can read the history of what went down.

Sounds like you have a problem with APE not with Victory.

APE was **** i know.

VRE has a whole different game though. Ive talked to Eric at VRE for about 2 months. We discussed many options and things for the new setup. I dont ever Remeber APE having good customer service.

well i personally do not have any problem with any shop i just figured that poeple would like to knowthis info before potentially putting thousands at risk i know i would.
just consider this thread a warning about potentially shoddy workdone by this person before.

If it IS the same "person", then he will do the same kind of things. I applaud you for giving this information. If anyone is serious about an engine build they should discuss this problem with them, before any money changes hands.

Well that was an interesting read.. I guess I agree with speed density and 02 silverZ. It seems like a problem with APE and not VRE.

By the way is APE Stripper Motorsports?

It's true that VRE is run by Nick D'Agostino, but since the whole APE shitstorm VRE has had pretty good press.

the only contact I ever had with VRE was 2 days back when I emailed Eric about a rotating assembly that I had In mind, and I have to say the he responded promptly to it.

I hope some one makes it clear from their side on this thread so we can have an Idea.

I was pretty scared in the begining but I gave VR a chance. They have never let me down. I also order parts for friends through them and have never had a problem. If theyre in the business of ripping people off I would have been a easy target. I'm a million miles away in a sandbox. VR has done anything and everything to make me happy. They answer my emails and PM's promptly and get my stuff out when they say they will. BTW, theyve even sent me free stuff. I have spent close to if not more than $5000 with Victory Racing.
