Default slp or k&n?

i'm looking to try to get my parents to get me a cai for christmas and i wonder which one i should get. i know the k&n costs more but that doesn't mean it'll be better. i doubt there will be much difference but i'm looking for opinions even if it's not what i have listed.

I take it your Car is a LT1? .. If that is True then my Vote is on the SLP. They Both Perform Equal But I think the SLP looks Much Better.

SLP is a lot more pimp. Most people that don't like it either have issues with heat soak or don't want to pay that much for an intake. I thought the SLP was more expensive than the K&N. I can't remember how much I paid for mine back in the day.. that was a long *** time ago.

truth..

it really doesn't matter IMO. It's all about how the CAI looks and how much $$$ you want to spend.
