Default ??? about rockers

Hi all,
If i switch over to nsa rockers with guideplates can i use any sbc roller rocker or do I have to use narrow body rockers? I already have the guideplates and am looking at 1.6 rr. I am using tall valve covers so height is no worry. Also, do I need to go to 7/16 studs with the comp 280xfi(i believe it will be like 576 lift)or can i still use 3/8? I am curious about that because i can get a set of rollers for 3/8 studs very cheap...
thanks in advance....

You can go with regular body rockers and you can stick with the 3/8" studs.

Do you already have the tall valve covers? If not you only have to grind the support beams down on the lt1 covers, and I took a little out of the inside top.

Stud diameter is not affected by lift of the cam or vice versa. A larger stud will be much stronger and more stable at high RPM. Even if you stay with 3/8" studs, you should replace them with some ARP units.
