loose plug cyl #5
i was bored and decided to clean a few plugs to see how they looked.
1 and 3 were great, good gap, etc. then came to #5. it was loose enough to wiggle it in the threadhole. could that have made me loose some power?

I've had the same problem. Noticed the power difference very quickly. Could normally hear it, if I was outside the car. Had two on the driver side that kept doing it. No matter how I torqued them down, they would back out. Finally, I used more pressure than normal (even though they are aluminum heads), and they didn't move. Couple hours ago found one on the passenger side was finger lose (doing valvetrain now). Can see where air was blowing past them. Gap is still good, plug looks decent. Time to retorque.

my exhaust note is different now that i retorqued it. and i did a 3rd to 4th gear pull and i backed out 1/4 way into 4th. i was at 90mph with the speedo still set at 3.42 ratio. so thatll be around 80mph.
and i noticed the engine moving a little more on idle with the hood up. i guess i was running on 7.5 cylinders and not 8.
