Default wiring harness?????

i just swapped in a 97 lt1 with its engine harness into my 94 and then found out that the plugs going to the body harness that wraps around the front of the car then under the drivers dash are different-there is an extra one with two wires pink and yellow that go to the body harness. does anybody know what these are-there right at pass strut tower-ecm area. i have the body haress from my 97 but i dont want to change all the wiring if i dont need to. are there any other problems you think i might run into bc the 94 is obd1 and the 97 is obd2? im also using the 97 ecm. any ideas????????

Ok this is no big deal First off....... let me tell you that if your going to run the 97 motor in the 94 f-body none of the wireing will be the same. The wireing harness completly changes from 95 to 96 because of the switch over from obd1 to obd2. If your going to run the 97 motor in the 94 body you will have to use a 94 harness! there just no way around it. Now by using the 94 harness with the 97 motor you wont be abel to use the crank trigger that comes on all 97 motors, not sure on this one but, if should fire correctly just with the censor found inside all opti. You will also need to run a 94 PCM or just find someone to convert the 97 pcm to obd1. Is your car a 6speed or manuel?

the car is a sixspeed. i have all harnesses ofof of my 97-body and everything. i put the motor together and in the car then realized the difference in the engine harness plugs by the strut tower. one plug has ten wire spots with only eight being used. the other plug has 4 or 5 but on the 97 body harness only two wires come out of it. im wondering if those two wires can go to the other plug but i havent figured out what they run which i will be doin tonight and tomorrow. if it cant be done then i guess i will go back to obd1 harness. can i still use new style distributor with obd1 wiring harness?

the connectors im talking about are c100 and c105. the 94 body harness doesnt have the c105 plug but if you look at c100 on my 97 there are two open plugs (k and BorD) im wondering if the two wires that come out of c105 on a 97 are related to those blank spots or not? i know this is probably getting confusing im just trying to provide as much info as possible that i know.

has anybody else tried to put and obd2 motor into an obd1 car. somebody out there had to try it. ifgure those wires have something to do with a power issue or the crank sensor bc i have no spark and i dont here the fuel pump turning on but it was before the swap. any help would be appreciated. i know there are some serious lt1 guru's in here!!!
