Default Vibrations

I have a vibration problem that keeps getting worse. I have poly motor and trans mounts, weld in SFC, Relocation brackets, LCA, 21MM RSB. Just upgraded to an ADJ TA and 3.42 gears w Auburn series three carrier. Since the last upgrades the vibration has gotten worse. Pinion angle has been set to -2,-1.5,-1.0 and 0 with no changes in vibration. 0 is where it is now. Pulled steel DS out and checked the U-joints. They move nice and smooth. The harder I take off the more violent the vibration. Car makes a vump, vump sound as well. The car will vibrate intermittenly in gear at a stop. I have two guesses: steel DS is out of balance or replace w Aluminum DS. Any thoughts? This ia a 95 T/A LT-1

I'd definitly put an alum driveshaft in. GM had Technical Service Bullitins (TSB's) with known vibrations with the steel shaft. I had some vibrations, and I went to the LS1 alum driveshaft, and it seemed to cure alot of my issues.... LS1 shafts are pretty cheap.. I'd at least give it a shot... Plus they are lighter

If you can find a 1LE shaft... thats also alum & slightly stronger than the LS1

Since it's easy to check, I'd also see if the axles are wobbling at all. Jack up the rear of the car, take the wheels off, start it and put it in gear. It'll be real easy to see any movement in the axle.

This 'vump, vump'...... have long tube headers? Perhaps an exhaust hanger gone astray?
