Im sure you can hear on the video how much the car is missing top end. Jason has been trying to chase down that gremlin for the last week now..and still hasnt found the cause of it. Were hoping to make a few 1/4 mile passes before the season is up-just wish we had a track closer than 2hrs away! Ill keep everyone posted as to when, and how it does.

Well, we finally made it to Beech Bend yesterday for a couple passes. The car went a 9.33@142 best pass, but still has major issues with missing. For some reason, it still has a bad miss above 6,000 and we cant find it. He ran good 1/8 mile times, but the car fell off hard on the big end due to missing. Jason thought it may have been too rich, leaned it out a little and most likely hurt a head gasket. Looks like were going to spend some more time chasing down that miss-and most likely wont be back out until spring.

Weve gapped the plugs down pretty far-he has redone all the wiring for his msd, bought the hottest coil msd offers for the digital 6, the car doesnt miss on the motor all the way to 7400. It only does it on the nitrous, we even took the car out for a motor pass with the nitrous solenoids unhooked but activated and it didnt miss so we think its not voltage. 
He has stock distributor and msd internals. About 55k on the opti. Maybe the opti is crapping out? 
Oh yeah- on the lean tune he went a 9.37@143. Car is just below 117 mph in the 1/8 but only 142-143 in the 1/4 where it used to pick up right at 30 before...(110 and 140). That miss is friggin killing it...on the dyno it was dropping 40-50 whp when it missed.

any chance you know where i could find his video from a few years ago. ive always loved that video but havent been able to find it recently. im talking about the one where it runs 9.58 and carries the wheels perfectly on launch
