Was thinking it's just my cam? only happens when im backing out of a parking space or pulling into one.. very light on the gas 2-5 mph it will goto 0 rpms and pick right back up no backfire or anything

Thats a failing optispark for ya....i die in reverse sometimes but that often once in a while, and very rarely die pulling into a parking spot i think it only happened once. My car also has a little slight cutting out around low rpms on take off.

its a new GM opti with a new msd cap & rotor

Still could be the sensors inside of the opti if you got them dirty somehow, or got it wet could have messed it up. Doesnt take much.
