Default Glowing coil

At night I have noticed a slight glow coming from around the coil.Is this something to be alarmed about? It's not very bright but you can deffinatly see it ,looks like a blue spark jumping on one side of the coil.It is not from the coil wire,it seems to be around the coil body.Any help?

Not fimilar with this, but could be a bad ground, failing coil, etc. Could be natural I dont know, first time ive heard this. But why not take this time to just change coils, replacements are not the much money and gives you a reason to upgrade to a better coil.

does it kind of remind you of an auroaborealsis(sp). It's a natural thing. My stock coil does it, and my msd coil does it. Not sure if it's done it since I replaced my opti last year, but when I had the original 150k opti it did... I'll have to look under the hood.
