True stock LT4 rockers are for a metric stud which an LT1 does not have. The GMPP rockers are for standard studs.

1.5 duration? you mean ratio? I believe they are. I would go with the GMPP 1.6 RRs. but really you wont see much of a difference in power with RRs

if I go higher ratio I will upgrade the springs too. I am on a tight budget but figured if the LT4 rockers will bolt it the rollers would help out power alittle

I think stock on the LT4s they were 1.6s, but as Dwayne mentioned they were for a metric stud. the GMPP are the ones you want and are 1.6s and or 1.5s if memory serves me correctly.. THere is a definate gain increasing rocker ratio and going to a full roller rocker.

Okay...I was hoping the LT4 stock rockers would work in the LT1 head.

stock lt4 rockers were 1.6. I went with comp cams 1.6 promagnums, really happy with them.

Like everyone said, the stock LT4 RR's are 1.6 ratio. To figure out your lift increase with them, take your lift and multiply it by 1.067. That is the difference between the 1.5 vs. 1.6's ratio Rockers. You will be very close with the number you get.

It has been shown in tests that the increase in power is mainly due to the increased lift. The rollers are good for reducing the friction that reduces oil temps. The details of such tests can be read in the Camshaft & Valvtrain book by David Vizard.
The original LT4 rockers are for metric studs and are 1.6. The GMPP can be had in both 1.5 & 1.6 and are for standard studs.

They will with the correct stud. I used a pair of "true" LT4 rockers
(non adjustable) with a hotcam. Worked great torque them down and
go.

sssalah already described where the gains come from. you're going to increase lift which is like a mini cam swap. even going to a aftermarket 1.5 rocker is a small gain because the stock rockers arent a true 1.5 ratio rocker..
