Um, bassani already makes one for LT1's, and it doesn't have a POS x-pipe like that one.

Guys, the site says its a prototype....thats why it looks a bit sloppy probably...Im sure if they did a production run it would be alot more '"seamless". At least I would hope.

yeah but if your paying 1000 for a exhaust your a either bassani or custom true dual or not

this is just a prototype to see how it would fit, its still being worked on this is just a mockup and would cost waaaaaay less then 1000+

i think that would be cool but for big motor cars 2.5" is kind of small....just get a 4" Mufflex exhaust and all problems solved. it also looks like it might be very hard to run some suspension components...

Wondering the same, aslo how is ground clearance? And what suspension parts would not be able to be used?

Remember its 2.5 dual, 2.5 single is a different story. And were not driving diesels here we dont need a 4'' echaust .

But i emailed them asking a handful of questions ill post the questions and answers if I get something back.

seriously? I know of a caprice on here that goes 12.3 with a full 2.5 dual exhuasts, mufflers, and all. 4" is OVERKILL to the max. even a 3.5" is on the rather large side. remember dual 2.5" pipes have the same AREA(not volume) cross section as a single 3". well, ABOUT. so imagine how overly huge a 4" would be... and how badly it WON'T fit. I tell ya... some people...

I can't even think about the formula for area of a circle. radius squared * PI? Can't even think... must be time for bed... (yes I know it's 2 P.M.)

I guess the people who spend the money on kooks headers are too. And I didn't buy the bassani setup either, I have the TSP setup ran out back 3" all the way.

why do they sell nitrous grind cams(114 lsa vs 112) that actually under perform a tigter lsa cam with the same specs? because people think they need it. on a big cube motor, you might need a 4" pipe, it is after all the same as dual 3" pipes. so I guess it isn't as much overkill as I was thinking. damn I was tired when I posted last.

the mufflex system is a very well designed system.. i have seen alot of big hp motors get more witht he mufflex system... the only reason i got one laying around is for futhure additions... but the sound of the mufflex will make you orgasm... first time i heard one was only on an LT4 hotcam car... and i was in love... then a buddy... who has way to much time and money into his.. has it as well and its just an different sound than any other catbacks i have heard... with great performance gains at the same time...

why do they sell fart cannons, why do they sell anemas in a box, why do they sell rocky mountain oysters (goat *****). Because there always will be someone buying it, why they buy it I dont know, do they need it? No. Unless you have big cubes, high horsepower, and pushing a power adder no need for a 4" setup. If you follow what I am saying.
