what to do with $2000

ALL the Bolt ons and even a cam would be better bet.
no logic behind that. as long as the car is in good running condition, and a compression test yields good results, spray away.
Didnt you guys ever read the chevy HP article where they took a junkyard 350 and tested it to see how much nitrous it would take before they blew it up?? I cant remember what new gaskets they put on it, (have to find it) but it did take a lot before they finally blew it.
As long as you have safety items and a good tune, nitrous would be fine. Like Caddy said, I know of people who have 160K + miles on their LT1 caprices (a wagon to boot) spraying 150 shots..
My local friend has a 97 camaro. with CAI, Exhaust and Headers, Gears and Stall, with a 150 shot (with just a stupid on/off switch), and some MT ET Drag radials, and he ran an 11.99
That motor took a beating, and kept going, until they made a saftey mistake. and that was even a GEN I engine. The thing that likely kept it alive as long as it did was the sub-par heads that couldn't flow more than the 250 shot. I think they said that the car it came from was around 150K. and I think the only prep was new head gaskets. But that was awhile ago. I'll see about finding it. It was CHP? I thought it was carcraft. But those are the only 2 I really read, so they kinda blend together.but anyways. need a rebuild at 140k, just to support n2o?
uh huh... but that brings us back to, it's gonna need headers, a full exhuast, intake, and Likely lower rear gears to see full potential. and it will still need new rockers, springs, and a tune. so why not start with the bolt ons?
