headers
2 dynomax bullets
clamps
reducers
hangers

and thinking about using the pipeing from the stock exhaust...

do long tubes come with y-pipes???
If those are your two choices then I would go with the pacesetters (they are actualy mids). BBK's are crap, don't buy them.

i have pacesetter lts with y-pipe. 10 hour install, no major problems. Love them.

shortys are a waste of time. if I was gonna put shortys on I'd just wait till I pulled the motor for a rebuild.

you want them coated to keep the under hood temps down, and keep from melting electrical things. and, alot of the paints are just to keep them from rusting in the boxes, and burn off, and turn to chalk.

Shorties are over rated.

i wouldnt bother at all if you arent going to do longtubes. this is coming from someone who planned on doing mids for over a year before I realized that wouldve been a mistake. honestly i was expecting more of a gain than what i got from my LTs, i wouldve been really disappointed with anything less.

I installed shorties, and I'm disappointed, put them in 2 years ago. If I had know then what I know now longtubes would have gotten installed. Sorties aren't that much cheaper anyway.

long tubes arent going to make your car any louder by themselves. going from the stock setup with an e-cutout after the cat, to longtubes with an e-cutout after the cats, my car actually may have gotten quieter. Now that i cut the cats though, my car is loud enough with the cutout open to make young children wet their pants.

as far as gains go with my longtubes im not sure. it definitely chopped a few tenths off my quarter mile time. the only place you really feel any difference though is above 4k rpms at WOT. before my power curve would start flattening out at about 4.5k, and be falling off after 5 it seemed. with the headers now, it will pull right to 6k.

The pictured ones are LS1 headers but some places use the same picture for the LS1 and LT1 pacesetters, that may have been the case whereever he was looking at that.
