LS1 into a LT1 car
Is anyone familiar with, or have done, or have heard of, a LS1 swap into a LT1 car? I know the k-member between the two are different as far as engine mounting but would it go to the car the same? Could I reuse the same T-56? I have considered doing it to my '94 Z28 but wouldn't even know where to begin researching it. I'm not ignorant to the fact of cooling and wiring. Just really don't hear much about that type of swap. Any suggestions, tips, advice, or other related threads?????

It's been done. There are a LOT of little things that change as well as the more obvious big ones.
In all honesty, unless you already own a wrecked LS as a donor, have a LOT of experience in all the systems of both cars, and lots of time and money to dedicate to the project, it doesn't make sense.
Sell the LT, buy an LS. Seriously, this is by far a better route.

Well if we all had imaginary dollars for repeated things we would all be rich. I know LS cars can be purchased cheap nowadays but im partial to my Z. LOL. I'm trying to get a C5 as well, so this was just a thought for a project. The market is dissolving for LT1's if you wanna even say it was ever there. LS series parts are everywhere and seem to have more bang for the buck. I deleted my A/C and heating from the pumps to the vents in thier entirety so i thought it would make this swap that much easier. thanks for the tips and i would be more than happy to read some more.

Ok fine. Go over to EFA, PM MeanGreen Z28 (Tuan) or GrannySShifting (Jeff). Both of them have done it. Or call either of the Baltimore area F-Body shops, one guy works at one and the other owns the other shop.
Or PM me if you want more info about where/what EFA is, since none of these folks are sponsors here.
