Cool I just noticed this site also.
Tony you might remember my car when it was at MTI.
Motors out because of a lean problem which resulted in a melted piston.Changing the fuel system,FAST computer, cam, boost etc...should go a little better.

Re: Any LT1/LT4 members here?
cool. i was just about to ask Nine Ball about an LT1 section of this board.
I have a 96 LT1 Formula. 6 speed. blue. Moroso CAI, 160* thermo(with the SLP fan switch but someone is working on it right now) and a crappy Flowmaster muffler(i got it for 10 bucks installed, so i cant complain). once i get a job, im going the 383 route with a head/cam setup.

PSJ...You say you have a vortec. What kind of mods can be done to a motor like that? Heads, Cam, intake, tb? Anything like that? Is there anything like LS1-Edit or something that would allow changes? I am looking into buying a 1997 1500 series truck. Kinda wondering if I can do anything to it. Thanks.

Its a cam motion custom grind. 255/263 656/628 with 1.52 rockers on a 110 LS. Its pretty big but drives very nice..well...its not like stock but drives well for the size that it is.
You can see my whole setup here

I see you have a blower on the car now? You thinking of going back NA..or juicing it?

Another LT1 guy here! The times in the sig are bolt-on only. Currently the motor is being freshened up, and doing heads and cam. Hopefully new times coming soon.

Built 350 LT4, forged internals, GTP heads/cam/intake, Vortech S-trim 10-12psi, aftercooler, FAST, yadda yadda
Car dynoed 532rwhp/520rwtq last year at only 5600/4800 rpms with some issues on 10psi of boost. Engine should make power to 6400 and pull to 7K. Looking for roughly 600 rwhp on 10psi now that the issues are sorted out.
Have not run the car yet but hopefully will get a chance before this year is up.
