Default Adjusting shift points in 95 T/A

Here is the problem. Whenver i get on it, my car hits the rev limiter, which i have adjusted to 6200rpm, and the damn thing doesnt shift till i let off. The guys that rebuilt my tranny told me i had to get the shift points changed. A buddy has loaned me his Hypertech programmer and it allows you to adjust them by MPH adn RPM...does anyone have any sugestions as to what RPM and MPH would be good to try? I am stock except for exhaust, 2.73 gears.

try this: 1-2shift +3mph, 2-3shift +7mph and 3-4shift +10mph. it should work. if it still hits rev limiter go 1mph less on the shift point that is hitting rev limiter. just press on the gas (wot)leave the car on overdrive and the shifts should be made around 6200rpm <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
