Does anyone know of a source for a replacement bearing for an Opti-spark? The original bearing is made by NTN and shows as #SX03A13LUACS25. GM apparently does not sell this individual bearing and the local bearing suppliers do not have this one. Any help appreciated....

I disassembled an opti once thinking of replacing the bearing.
One of the problems I ran into is that the shaft and the rotor hub are assembled with an interference fit and there is no way to reassemble them in the exact same angular position, unless you have a gig set up for this purpose.
I might be wrong though. This was several years ago.
I then decided to just get a new one.

I have disassembled my opti down to the bearing. You MUST scribe some indexing marks for the two press fit pieces in order to get them "clocked" right or the opti wont work. When I first reassembled my first one, I did not do this and it took a while to figure out where I fukd up LOL.
You can also repack the bering with grease by removing the seal assuming its not worn.
