Default Solid Roller Cam conversion... Need cam selection advice

I've run into the need to do a solid roller conversion on my 97LT1 and would like to know of a good "aggressive" cam that will allow me to run between 7000-7200rpm(runnin a powerglide). I called comp cams and they gave me a spec as follows....
306/318 113lsa w/ .672lift Part # 07-0009 grind # 4018/4032 r113

Just wondering if any of you have any opinions on this selection.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Application:
"stock Bottom End" ..tryin' to get it into the 9's
150 wet shot
stage 3 ported lt1 heads (combustion chambers are untouched)
Car is set-up for nothing but drag (ie...full spool(4.11) ...3000#raceweight ...glide...slicks...you get the idea).

Current cam selection netted me a best of 10.71@112mph....(car fell on it's face with the new glide at @900 ft)...hence the reason for more rpm. (traps with a t56 - 129mph)

Call up Cam Motions....IMO the best solid roller grinds for LT1/4 cars. Alot of the fastest NA LT1 cars run their grinds...and they are VERY driveable. 225-926-6110

Sounds good....nice size cam for your cubes. You will definatly make some power with good heads. That cam is real similar in specs (not sure on lobes) to mine. I run a 247/250 .658/.659 112 but it is in a 396ci motor....real nice drivability. Traps 126mph NA in the 1/4 and still needs some tuning....I am real pleased with Cam Motions grinds.

Ellis, that is good to hear! Great numbers....man that motor has had an interesting life <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Best $400 you probably ever spent on that car!

YBird - If you prefer, private email me but I'm wondering what kind of heads you're using, the cost of that cam, what kind of valve train you're using to use that kind of lift. What is your idle quality like? Also, have you dyno'd this setup? if so, what kind of numbers did you get out of it?
Thanks!

man i fighting this same deliema right now. i currently run the gtp 6 236-242 568-598 hydro roller setup and i made ( with my 6 spd) 452rwhp and 414rwtq but on a 200 shot the car made 676.8rwhp and 842rwtq. Im up in the air on changing the setup because the car runs awesome. But everyone is trying to talk me into changing to the solid roller to get every hp i can out of the car. I just dont want to change and then lose power. also i just installed a th400 with a 8in convertor and ran the car with only a 125 shot and ran 10.2 didnt know what to expect with the auto. anyway i called cam motion but they gave me a reverse split cam and i told them i would like to go back to a 200 to 250 shot to get the car in the 9's. i like the cams you guys are talking about but im just not to sure about what they tlod me.

my current set up is a
95 ta 383, gtp 6 cam, pro performance stage 3 heads, ati th400, 8in convertor, 4:11 ( soon to be 373 plus ill be spraying 200 to 250 any ideas on a cam
