Why do Ford guys post on this board?
Why do Import guys post on this board?
Why did YOU register to post on this board?

Catch my drift?

I registered so I can ask why.. I can see looking at the Sponsor section, lounge, FS section, but why is there a TECH section for LTx on ls1tech?? That would be like www.lt1tech having a ls1tech section.

Because we have a number of LT1 guys who come over to read and use the various forums.

Most savvy folks know of the other forums that have a strong LT1 following, but you can certainly let folks know if they could use some guidance.

i am an LT1 guy, but i spend quite a bit of time here at LS1tech.com due to the fact that it is much more racer oriented than the other 4th gen boards out there. there is a great pool of chassis, suspension, and general info here that is usful to all 4th gen owners that you dont see on the other boards, and you also have several shop owners who frequent this board and offer thier experience to help us out. several other serious LT1 racers seem to like coming here for the same reasons, so i think it just made good sense for the owners of the board to put in an LTx section for us. its easier to ask a question here and get a reply from some of the more serious LTx owners than it is on other boards. lots of fast, knowledgeable guys here, and we can learn a lot from some of the fast LS1 guys regardless of the powerplant

A lot of fast LT1 guys visit the forum since like 80% of the content is 4th gen related.

Feel free to post LT1 site links like crazy we just want to help folks.

Exactly for the reason stated above. I am interested in ALL 4th gen f-bodies, not just LT1. Not to mention that in the not so distant future I will own and LS1.

I have a Z06 maf on my car, that's why I post here.

There's a lot of good info and friends that post here on various subjects that can be transferred to either LTx or LS1 vehicles. It's all about a big happy family. If you don't like it, get the F out, there's more of us than there are of you.

After getting 11 pages of flames for running 11.9 @ 128mph in the quarter with a 2.2 60' in a stock turbocharged LT1, I gave up on camaroz28.com. This board just seems more insightful.

My '96 Vette is OBDII and shares many of the same tuning issues as the LS1.

Plus the basic principles of performance mods/tuning can be universally applied.

"Parts is parts"... meaning every engine whether carbed, fuel injected, four valves per cylinder or two, works on the same basic theories.

And the more people you have throwing information into the pot, the more quality info you can filter out.
