Is this the only muffler flowmaster makes that fits on a late model f-body? If so, how does it sound?

It has a deep muffled rumble(not too loud, but far from quiet). Although it sounds kinda generic IMO(like a pick-up truck with Flows).

BTW, I think there is also a 40 series single outlet muffler that can be made to fit the F-bodies as well.

go get a edelbrock exhaust. they sound real good.

 

Flowmaster sounds mean as hell with gutted cats. Had one put on about two weeks ago. Paid 80 bucks installed. Couldn't pass up the deal

 

had an 80 series on my old 83, sounded loud but not too loud. very noticeable interior resoance even with windows up
