Also, you should upgrade your injectors (based on the ones in your sig) to at least 24#.

If it were me - I would go with a larger cam as well. I've got a 383 with GTP stage II heads with a GTP #6 cam = 234/242 268/292 on a 114 sep. Mine works well and I'm over 400 ft lbs @ 2750rpm. Keep in mind that you've got the extra cubes now that will eat up a cam ie. go with a larger cam.

How is the driveability with that cam? Did you change injectors as well?

1.) Its a truck and its heavy. If I had and F-body I'd definitly get a bigger cam. You can really feel the loss of low end torque when you have a 4900 pound vehicle.
2.) The intake manifold doesnt flow that well (even with porting) Ed Wright's guy said that my intake doesnt flow very well past 5000 rpm. However mine pulled fine up to 5500 on the dyno.
3.) Ed Wright's guy reccomended a 210, 220 cam (the comp 304) I actually bought that cam and had the computer programmed for that setup. After a week I couldnt live with myself having such a weak cam, so I sent the cam back and the computer is being done right now (for hotcam)
3.) Who else is building a stroker for 96-99 trucks running the stock fuel injection system? (I've only heard one other guy who's doing it with a blower) I'd rather run a cam that Fastchip is familiar with, so they can tune it better. Its a mail-order tune so I'm already taking chances.
Does that make any sense to you guys? I'd like to hear what you guys think.

They dont make any aftermarket or alternative options for my weak 19# injectors. They are not standard style injectors, and are unique to only 96-99 chevy vortec V6 and V8 engines. The only way to get a boost is mess with the fuel pressure regulator, and get a Walbro 340 to keep the pressure up (which is 60-66psi stock)

Are you sure? That sucks. I thought injectors were pretty standard, especially among GM vehicles, which can use Ford injectors (see what I mean?)...
Who says you cant fly with a HOT cam.
