I've heard and saw a bunch of QTP cut outs that the noid goes bad and it gets stuck open or closed. I heard alot about Race Readys I also had one and was awsome. A buddy of mine bought a QTP the same time I bought my Race Ready. Installed the same day Mine out lasted his. He had to buy another and mine still works on another guys car.

I already have a pair of Cutouts each right behind the collector of my headers. I just want to be able to hit a switch instead of get on all fours and unbolt them. Its not so much a pain to unbolt them, I would rather just be able to open them while driving.

QTP here as well, I'm sure if you hold the switch down after the valve has fully opened or closed it will put unneccesary strain on the motor, leading to an early failure. But yeah, had mine for about a year and never had a problem.

I have dual electric 3" DMH's on the y-pipe, and they work great!

Just a tad bulkier than the QTP, and they close in less than 5 secs (switch mounted inside console)

Your LT set up looks alot like mine, except my cutouts are before the cats, and my cutouts point the other way, when I welded them pointing out I figured it would dampen the resonation inside the car.
