Default Aftermarket intake elbow?

Is it actually worth the $70-100?

well I wouldn't think it would be a huge performance gain, maybe 1-3 hp? I dont know, I just cant justify spending that kind of money for one. Is there an easier/cheaper way?

Its gotta gain at least 1-3 hp, it smooths out the flow because it is not ribbed like the stock...and it removes the long donkey dong...

But the real point of getting it is to clean up the bay, alot eaiser to put on and take off then the stock elbow...the stock is a bitch

yeah that was the main reason i bought it when i did it to get rid of the dong, and to help out the engine bay apperance, did wonders for that aspect, considering my CAI has some metal on it

yeah, they look great, and make working with the TB a hell of alot easier (atleast it seems that way) so it seems very convenient in that aspect. the only thing holding me back is the $$$. I have no money because I'm home on disability. So I've got all the time in the world to look up mods. haha.

Whatever you do don't waste money on a 1le elbow, its still made of rubber.
I've got the ceramic coated trickflow, looks great and yeah that silencer thing was stupid, induction noise??? Gm must have been on crack. Even with the FIPK and elbow I still don't hear any induction noise, no way in hell there was any noise with the factory air box, that thing couldn't flow air if it wanted to.

gm did the silencer because of driveby noise standards. you think if it was up to them they would put it on? or would they save the $1.00 per car...

I have a Polished Aluminum Trick Flow elbow, and I love it.
Why spend $50 on a Rubber elbow, when you can spend $20 more and get a sweet lookin elbow that will last forever?
Not only that, it will never get damaged or rip, and you can take off/put it on as many times as you want.
It works great with the Moroso.

Did I mention it looks sick?

It's all personal preference... but to me...
Anything less would be uncivilized.
