Secondary Air Injection...Where is this

I have been pulling a code 29 from my car, and the scanner book said it is something to do with the speedometer. I looked up code 29 for a 1994 lt1 online and it said "Secondary Air Injection, check for shorts" where is this at? What do i need to do?

That's something to do with the air pump. It's right under the alt. Nothing related to the speedometer.

Deleting the air pump might fix it.

assuming its an f-body, dont know about corvette or b-body(if its in the same location). The pump is an electrical pump located on the drivrs side of the block, underneath the coil to the side of the waterpump. If you wanna keep it, look for shorts in the wiring. If not, yank that piece out. Cap the manifolds, and vacuum lines, program it out of the pcm, and be done with it... If you wanna see some pics of it removed, look for the thread titled emissions delete(i think) and look for my post with some pics...

your probably popping the air pump fuse. check it under the hood.
a cheap fix is to unplug the air pump and replace the fuse.that will get rid of the ses light.
