Default LT1 HID H4 & H3 6000k daytime pics :)

Okay guys/gals, here are a couple of daytime pics of the HID H4 6000k low beam and H3 6000k foglights. I will try to take some pics of the lights at night once I have them adjusted. I used the optilux (hella) foglights with the blue angel eye, modified the stock foglight bracket and had it black gloss powdercoated. Everything looks as if it were OEM. Sorry, I still don't have the nose back on the car. The HID project has taken me awhile to engineer it to look and work like factory.

The HID lighting is insanely bright. Its like I was driving with no lights on with the factory lighting :lolsign:

Awesome. Yeah that's the same way I felt when I went from my truck (with HID's) to my Camaro (with stock bulbs) . . . I couldn't wait to get HID's for it . . . now I got them and can see again

HarvickGM,

I bought the H3's from a place called Time Rivers. I just purchased the H4 low beam from a company out of Canada. I'm not sure what you mean by extra boxes for extra power ?

I believe the H4 and the H3 kit were both $275 each, total $550 with the shipping.

No vendor is going to have this complete kit. I made all the brackets out of billet aluminum with CAD. The HID kit is a Blue Xion system (very nice kit), but LEDguages.com is a good company to buy HID kits, plus they're a paying vendor Do a search on my screen-name for the other threads that I show more pics of the mock-up with all the custom plates and HID parts.

I never had the hella housing, just the stock units. Your probably thinking of BlackBirdWS6 who has the Hella freeform 4x6 glass units with 6500k H4's. Obviously, there is a huge difference between stock and this setup. The difference between Hella freeform 4x6 glass housing and my glass projector are probably minimal with the projector having a slight bit better beam cutoff.

Sorry about that i got you guys confused, their is only like 3 people on this board that have diffrent lights in their Lt1 birds including myself, i think blackbirdws6 was going to switch to a Hid setup also. So could i just use a diffrent H4 bulbs in my hella housings to get a better light? I like my hella's but they still could be better. Thanks

In the Hella housing (4x6) you can use any H4 style bulb. If your talking about the fogs (Optilux Hella) you can use any style H3.
