i just bout a 95 trans am i had the air box out and i notices that it
didnt have air foil is it supposed to have one or did someone take it
out

 

if its a stock throttle body which im guessing it is...then no they do not have an airfoil. and their not worth the 40 bucks for the 1 if any hp they give. i have only only because i got it for a few bucks....

when i put mine in i didn't notice any difference except my gas mileage picked up a little bit.

i have one too btw. like someone else said, got it for cheap and figured why not.

 

well, ill admit, i bit the bullet on this one, i paid full price for mine. it looks cool and its fun to install. The intake sounds different when i press the gas, sounds more aggressive. thats the only difference i noticed. I don't mind though, I just enjoy working on this car.

 

any amount of hp gained helps in the end, although they are overpriced, you can find some no reserves auctions on ebay and get them for under 30 if your lucky

 

Not bad if you get it cheap, I used the one from Jet. Which with the TF air elbow I'm using, I had to cut it down alot on the top and bottom to fit.

 

i bought the screw in kind you have to take the TB plate off for, its in there pretty solid and has no thoughts about moving.

 

i swear when i put in my holley airfoil that i gained like 75 rwhp and that i spun through all six gears just while doin normal acceleration gettin on the hwy. it was like a boost of chuck norris to my car

do your wheels lift off the ground when you launch? thats how i usually tell if my airfoil is working
