Default code 36 high resulotion

my car is running like **** and i get code 36 high resulotion. i changed the opti and still the same problem. i also changed the icm and still the same problem. could i have got a bad opti or is it something else any help would be great.

I think a code 36 is a bad mass air sensor. I do not have a book near but that would definitley make the car run bad.

the code is high resolution fault it is a 94 car.

If you replaced the opti and it's still there it could be a short in the connector or a bad ground or something.

could also be an issue with the pins on the 4 pin connector in the opti. make sure they are clean,and tight.they get wallowed out with unplugging the opti.

found the problem it was a bad pin connection that connects to the opti. she runs great now
