i don't see anyway to get 400hp from that little engine and cam, let alone 450. that is a damn hot small block. heads might flow 320+ but that cam just don't support the numbers period. and if someone is making big numbers like that, i'd put money on fudged perameters in the dyno cell. speed shops are not above doing that.

That seems like a very nice car. Low mileage and a good selection of high quality parts. Worth over 10k IMO and should run low 12's with a 1.7-1.8 60.

I personally think that should make 450, but I'm not LT1 Guru

flywheel or engine hp is probably what it is. Selling price was lowered to 12,900 btw. Anybody know the specs on the heads. If I buy it, I'll probably want to put in a bigger cam and need to know the head specs. Thanks

i dont understand, he said the guy has full dyno sheets and videos, but asking us how much hp it makes. look at the sheets, drive the car. i hope your not buying a car off ebay.

i saw a camaro on ebay saying it had 400+rwhp, pimped out interior with tv's and playstations and crap, big wheels, looked nice like a show car. it was wierd cause they would sell or trade for another camaro, i said why? turns out it was a wrecked v6 that had an lt1 transplant and a salvage title.

Don't know exact specs on the GTP LT4 heads....but I have a set of their stage 2 LT1 castings. They flowed 260~ intake and ~195 on the exhaust. I had my heads flowed by Brodix when I built my 396. With those heads and a ported GTP LT1 intake I made 422/447 w/a small 222/228 .544/.538 112 cam.

The LT4 heads probably flow in the 280/200 range.

The car sounds like it has alot of good parts, but like most have said, it will not make 450rwhp NA.

No, I'm not buying off ebay. Car is in Ohio, I live in New Orleans. Car is in the vehicles for sale section over at camaroz28.com. It'll cost me $300-$400 for a one-way plane trip. Just weighing my options on the worth of going up there to check it out.

GTP heads are pretty pimp.. Throw a bit larger cam in there and you can have 400+rwhp fairly easily....

I am a little over 400 FWHP with my setup if you do the calculations..
It put down 325 to the ground, Hotcam Kit and stock Heads through an A4.
The Hotcam is a small Cam, it's a nice little street Cam.

Found out its 450 at the flywheel. Guy said 375 rwhp, which would put 450 at the flywheel right at 120% of the rwhp. So, does 375 rwhp seem logical or possible with that setup? I had an ls1, and have never dealt with lt1s or lt4s, so I don't know much about them. I haven't had time to do much research on the mods either. Any thoughts, suggestions, or comments will be appreciated. And, as always, thank you for your time.

One thing I have found is that the Aluminum Drive Shaft actually reduces the loss by about 3%.

375 seems on the high side for that cam and an auto... it is do able though.
