get the dyno sheet from him.

that would probably put down around 340-360 at the wheels maybe lower because of the auto. that could be around 400+ at the fly wheel.

Depends. Is he saying 450 H.P on the engine or at the wheels? With the GTP ported heads an hotcam, I'm pretty sure it can make 450 H.P on the engine but definetly not at the wheels.

Anybody know the specs on those heads and whether or not those are long tube headers?

AS&M = Arizona Speed & Marine... As far as I know they only make Long Tube headers for Lt1 F-body's. But you might want to check and see if they make any others now.

As far as price, IMHO 14K is alot of money for a car, even IF it does have 450 engine HP...
I got 450 to the wheels outta my stock motor with full exhaust and a Procharger. I spent way less than 14K buying the car, parts, and tuning as well.

Similar to my setup. 450 is at the crank. If the dyno shows it at the wheels there's probably a little blue bottle hidden in there. 350-360 at the wheels.

I just bought a 97 TA from Platniumta on this board. Car has lloyd elliot pnp heads, intake and tb, lt4 hotcam, descreened and ported maf, gold crane 1.6 rockers, upgraded springs, and pushrods, hooker lt, custom ypipe, hooker catback, no cats, spec stage 4, underdrive pulley, msd6a, k&n cai. I think that sums it up anyway he has a dyno sheet he is sending me 375 at the wheels and 450 with a 75 wet shot of nos.

With that setup my guess is 425 or so at the crank, 325-350 at best at the wheels.

I thought AS&M only made midlength headers for f-bodys? And yes like other people said not near enough cam.

Like almost all advertisers, he is probably using crank hp. That combo would be very close to 450 at the flywheel, but for him to advertise it as such without any dyno time or actual #s is kind of lame. He should list the mods and put "Estimated 450hp" at least.

With all that stuff and STOCK heads, that car would make about 325-330rwhp.

With those ported LT4 heads? I say 365rwhp.

When selling a car and mentioning HP numbers, people will always quote the higher "at the motor" numbers. Chevrolet didn't market the new 1993 Z28 as having a new 240rwhp LT1 engine did they?

That T/A is closer to a 425-430hp car. Sounds like a damn nice car to me, lots of choice parts. I would pay 12500 for it, no more.

As far as the comment " you could get an LS1 for that price..."
Not everyone wants an LS1 dude, I sure as hell don't.

Pinipn is a funny word ^_^ heh

Well for the life of me I can't find a LT4 Cam spec sheet online. Or I'd build, to the best I could, that motor in Desktop Dyno and see :\
