Default 75 Shot on stock motor

I was wondering how a 75 shot would do on my stock LT1? I just need it for 1 race. But I always been kinda scared to spray my car.

Thanks

as long as it isnt running lean, and everything is in proper working order, I dont thinka 75 shot is going to hurt your car...

spray 100 wet on stock motor(internals) and it works great and have yet to see any NA performance loss. just install it with all the proper saftey features. but as a warning one you spray youll be adicted

Bottom line I think a 75 shot should be OK as long as every thing else is in proper working order. (ie, fuel and ignition). I would advocate installing at least a window switch, and if you want to be very carefull, a fuel pressure safety switch.

Check how much timing you are running via LT1 Edit or Tuner Cat etc. You may need to retard it a couple degrees to avoid problems on the spray.

I do not recall what the stock ring end gap is on LT1's but you don't want to generate too much heat and have your ring ends butt. That means good bye to at least that piston.

Are you looking to go wet or dry?

75 shot is for imports, J/K.

a friend of mine sprayed a 200 shot on his bone stock 96 SS for a whole season, nothing happened to the car and it still runs smooth, just get the least of safety gadgets as was said before and you will be fine.

warning, spraying is like crack.

All I need is about a 75 shot to beat him, all he got is a 99 Mustang GT with Exhaust/no headers, 3.73 gears. But yet i know he sprayed me because he got me by about 3 cars, with those mods he still couldnt beat me without spray, even though im stock.

lol! I think he was spraying close to 150, It didn't impress me. But then again it's just a Mustang GT i guess he needs the extra boost.

Mustang GT's

A bolton GT won't need spray to beat a stock LT1.

Full bolt ons most likely, GT's don't seem to gain much from just bolt ons like our cars do(or at least my friends cars haven't). Some stock LT1's do 14.0 1/4's. most 04ish Gt's I've seen with bolt ons run in the 14.4 range(this is without headers though)

I was in my friends bolton GT when he put a couple cars on a 97 Z28 with a catback.

I've seen a '95 z28 blow off the intake manifold from a 150 shot. bit of advice, don't start sprayin till about 3k RPM's or the nitrous will travel back up into the intake on a dry shot
