chree : nice wagon.. is it loud? Would be funny to smoke some punk in a wagon.

V8FC : looking nice man! What color you thinking about for this car when its done? That thumbnail of the black RX7 looks sick!

Not to hijack, but the wagon is quiet, nobody gives it a second look... super sleeper mode

The quiet is achieved by an odd exhaust arrangement: the headers dump into an x-pipe, then the two pipes merge into a single 3" pipe with two inline mufflers.

I would make that thing loud, show that it has nuts..lol My Z28 is wicked deep, it's not loud sounding, just deep. Then again it's a Camaro, so most people already have an idea that it's supposed to be fast.
But to each there own..

They look like lt1 heads to me, I don't see any coolant ports on the intake side.

ive never heard of stock LT1 heads as "nice flowing", and yea reverse cooling is nice due to the compression capability advantage, but still, you lose the vibe when you go with carb. dont get me wrong, ive got a 75 chevy monza with a 327 (carbed) and i love it to death. but ide never want to drive it every day due mostly to the carb (dependability, gas mileage, etc) and my STOCK LT1 would spank the 327 (bored 30 over, headers, wild cam, 4 barrel holley, edlebrock intake, heads of a corvette, high stall, 3.73). just shows the EFI advantage. its still gonna be a cool ride tho man, dont get me wrong!

I hate to see people lose the EFI...but still a handful feel like it is easier.

That iron headed LT1 flows 20% more than previous generation heads. Aluminum heads flow 15% more than previous generation heads. You didn't think all of that power increase from TPI to LT1 came from increased compression and a new intake did you?

the in 1989 they put dual cats making the L98 240HP and in 1992 245 HP before dual cats they were making 230HP
Now keep in mind in stock form the 93-95s were making 275hp on a single cat and many were dynoing close that to the wheels.
