Friends car had headers ory and the flowmaster, he didnt like the sound so he changed it to the dynomax bullet, it sounded worse. So he went with the slp loudmouth and put in a sweethunder muffler. One of the best sounding exhaust systems iv ever heard, and its basically an open exhaust. But if you just want to chose between the two the dynomax is going to give you the best performance.

Spintech's another good one to consider (I had a Flowmaster on mine, sounded good, louder than stock but had a drone that can get annoying on long trips, replaced with Spintech after the Flowmaster rusted out). The Spintech's still louder than stock and a lil quieter than the Flowmaster, but sounds much richer, especially when cruising around. The Spintech screams when you floor it, and does not have any annoying drones at any RPM. Supposedly flows better than Flowmaster (I can't confirm).

yea, it seams like everyone says that flowmasters suck. I had one on my car and switched to a hooker and didn't notice much of a difference... but my flowmaster had a huge hole in it so maybe it was flowing well, haha. go with the bullet

i think you may have sold me on spintech. been debatin what mufflers to get, and what you described is exactly what i want. still slightly mellow but will scream at a higher rpm. i've always had a flowmaster, and that 'drone' got kind of old(i drive alot).

If you plan on a dump/cutout. Just get a flowmaster to keep the noise down, hence less attention from cops.

Ironxcross, my Spintech was installed on the stock pipe with no problem. I'm even using the stock tailpipes (some custom welding). I'll look up the part number and confirm.

onebadblackz, I had mine installed at Mufflex, a Spintech dealer. Not sure who else sells/installs them.
