Progress This is day 2..
It's running, just not all the way yet. I have to Shim the Starter a little bit more, and put the front Suspension back together. The Lifters has to get oil in them, cause they are not pushing up. A couple of Cylinders fired, we quit messing with it cause of the Starter, didn't want to kill it. So tomorrow looks good to have it running. It's getting there..

It's not fully running yet.. but it will be. Atleast I wired everything right, it didn't catch fire when I connected the Battery, and when I tried to start it.

Hopefully tomorrow. Once I shim the Starter, it should fire up. It had Oil Pressure, that shot right up as it was turning. Anyone that has dropped a new motor in their car, chime in if yours did the same thing.

I would check out that oil pressure, maybe post another thread asking others because I wouldnt want damage after all that work. (Sorry I dont know if my gauge "shoots" up right away or if it works its way there.)

The gauge works fine, it doesn't shoot up like it was wired wrong. If it was wired wrong, it would ping out as soon as you turn the key. It steadly goes up to a little over half-way as I am turning it over. A couple of Cylinders are firing, it wants to go. I'll have to mess with it today.

Looking good. Just have patience with it. Check everything over at least 3 times. Make sure the rockers are adjusted correctly, then fire her up.
If your having issues gettin the rockers to pump up, remove the plugs (to relieve unnecessary stress on the rotating assembly), loosen a pair or rockers, turn the motor over untill you get oil squirting out the pushrod tip/rocker hole, then adjust the rockers using the cylinder to cylinder method. Make sure you looses the pair for each cylinder and get oil before adjusting the valves. Then install the plugs and fire her up!
If you need any clarification on the cylinder to cylinder valve adjustment, pm me.
