Default Compression increase & tuning?

Just got done putting the LT1 in my truck, after the oil pump pickup fell off the other one. It just threw this one together, stock block, heads, crank, cam from my car, stock rods and pistons from the block that is in my car now, the only things not stock are the Comp lifters and Mr. Gasket 5716 head gaskets. They are thinner (.026 compressed) to increase the compression to what I have heard 11:1. I am on a stock tune and the truck always ran good before, maybe a little rich. Now with the compression increase it pings just when you rev it LOL. What will need to be changed in my tune for this? Just the timing? Externally, it just has mid length headers and a pretty free flowing custom intake. No real mods.

Well, it also has a 160* thermostat

Yea you would have to tune it with LT1-EDIT or somthing that can tune the lt1s. Are you using the lt1 wiring harness?

I'm running a Painless harness. I didn't think going up .5 on the compression would have this big of an effect. Now I know
