i think dumping it would be ugly. i personally like the tips....and y put more money into an exhuast that your going to scrap anyways? besides you can sell what you got now. if you make dumps out of your 80 series nobody will buy it then....

I just dont want the tips anymore. One is crooked and i dont like the way they look. The reason im asking about dumps is because dont want to just hack the tips off and that be it. Im not talking about dumping it to where you can see it. To each his own, right?

Its just my personal opinion, but I don't prefer the look of any sort of tips on the rear of the 4th Gen Cars. I definately don't like the 3" Slash Cut stainless ones, and the center exhaust is a little bit outplayed in my opinion. So originally I left the factory square ones on, but in the spirit of debadging my car, had some dumps put on as well. I just ran outside real quick to snap some shots -- so the quality isn't fantastic at 2am in the car port, but you get the idea. If you want me to take some daytime pics just let me know. If you're standing at normal height, the rear just looks smooth. IMO -- it looks much cleaner.

I have. Dumped it directly off the muffler if that what you mean. It sounds completely differnet vs tail pipes. I did that before I went with true duals. Just make sure the turn downs are short with a very slight bend, similiar to the flowmaster brand turn downs. That way the exhaust is directed away from the body and your wont be able to see them.
