Default for people with 6al boxes

in the manual it says to hook up the 2 pink wires and the 2 white wires to this and that. OK, easy. Then i look at my car (94z) and i only got 2 pink wires and 1 tanish/maby white wire. It says you will have 2 white wires if you have a factory tach. Well we got factory tachs but still only 1 white wire. So what wires go to what on the msd box?

ok, to settle it all. If you look in the msd book, it shows how to do it for del plug coils, thats what we have. Now in the picture it shows a pink and a white wire comming off each plug. So the 2 plugs have a pink and white wire comming out of EACH plug. Thats what it shows in the msd instructions. Now on my car, my 2 plugs go like this: the 1 plug has a pink and a white and the other plug ONLY has a pink. I dont have 2pink/2white, i got 2pink/1white.

Dont feel bad, I tried to install the Digital 6 I got into my 91 and fried the MSD box (I think). I got it from a friend as payment, and no warranty, so now I have a 50/50 dead MSD box. Moral of story, be careful, watch the box for smoke :\ But good luck.

Ok I ran the single pink wire with the stripe and one of the wires from the other connector together, and connected them to the orange wire.

Then the other wire I connected to the black one.

Wish I could tell you what color on the other connector, but I had to replace mine, so both wires are grey. I have the feeling they are both positive wires are to the orange wire and the negative off of the dual wired one is to the black.

So its probably both pinks to the orange and the white to the black.

well I know the 6al has the rev limiter, I'm using a 6a, but I don't think the wiring is different.
