cam question
i'm looking to get a cam. i was wondering whats the biggest i can go with stock rockers and everything. i'm running nitrous and will have some headers on the way soon. im kinda slow when it comes to cams but i love the sound of the lope and so id like one with bigger duration but when it comes down to it guess ill get what works best for the money. if looked at the the lt4 hotcam but the lift is only 492 with stock rollers and everything, didnt know if i could go bigger! any input would help, thanks alot

95% will advise you to to Cam, Rockers, Springs, and Timing Chain at the same time. Its just good practice. If your gonna buy a cam dont cheap out and keep the stock rockers. My .02, Its like the guys driving rusted out 80's caprices with 22 inch rims.

well when you put it like that it just doesnt seem right not to do it all!! but i dont know if i can take the advice from a pipefitter.....some of you guys are pretty crazy i'm a welder, worked with some special people in my travels....

I will sell you the heads and cam off of my car for $600... CC306 cam... comp double springs... titanium retainers... mild porting... manley undercut and swirl polished valves.
should be good for super low 12's high 11's with most of the bolt-ons in a full weight car. easily 10s if you get a kit. All you would need is a timing set, and if you wanted roller rockers... PM me if you would be interested.
