you forgot they added 1.6 rockers, and I got cloes to 12's with stock exhaust and a cutout, no headers, rockers, or magnaflow here...

I am running completely stock suspension, gears and only picked up a little (.15) with the stall since it was actually optimised for the setup I still haven't put in the car yet, and I was able to cut 1.9 60's on pep boy special (ie. el cheepo's) street tires to get those time in my sig. I will admit though that was also without rear seat and spare tire and stuff like that and they may be keeping all that in... I just did headers, exhaust, and 1.6 rr's and I am hoping for 12.8's or better so I figured their car with teh same mods can do it too...
Anyhow, this was all a guestimation on what I had compaired to their car, and the numbers I was shooting for. but like I said in my first post their car may be having other issues because it was slower with the original set of mods...
no there is no tune 13.8 is what they stared with they just got a tune but they didnt test it yet thats what we all are waiting for..... oo i forgot they got a new timing chain too
this issue is recockulas. What do these guys at GMHTP thinking? I mean it is like they didnt do homework at all. I mean i ran 12.9 with a 3600 stall, stock trans, stock 2.73's, LCA's, mid-length headers, cut out, CAI, 104 octane, and a stock tune. I sprayed 125 on the same set up and ran a 12.1 .
I'd really like to see what they would do with a LE 2 package. Or spray it until it blows and then do another 396 car with a LE 3 package.
Thats kind of ambitious for a rag though
damn LT1s. i have mine and wouldn't trade it in since I've put a good amount of money into it and its my baby. However, If I did all the mods I have done for my LT1 on an LS1 I would have a way faster car. LSx's and those freekin intake maniflods and 15 degree heads.
