Mine are slip fit...I have the Kooks stepped 1 3/4 - 1 7/8"...Very nice headers with great ground clearance, plug access...I have since changed from slip fit to Dynatech stainless V-band clamps to go with my true duals...

They are the best has far of everything:

-The sound is amazing
-The fittement is perfect(only the steering shaft bolts need to be grind a little)
-The quality of the finish and weld are breathless
-They will last without rusting

By the way since where in the subject im using the short oil filter but it still would not pass between the oil pan and the headers. When i change my oil yesterday(breaking oil change)i was obligated to use a "prybar" to be able to let the filter pass?

Is it normal?

Which filter are you using? I use the AC PF454 and it clears everything fine...I can get my whole hand around it...

Do they build them w/ the build them w/ v-band style now? I have FLP's and like them for being able to swap ORP to Cats. But their 1 3/4 - 1 7/8 w/ a 4" outlet is oh so tempting.

I don't think they do...Mine were modded after install, but I bet if you called them, they'd weld on the collars for the band clamps...

More would use them if it was not for the cost, oh and they are stainless so they will not rust.

How would they sound different than a Hooker or PS LT if they have the same primary size? just curious

pipe shape and length... a lot comes into play with the sound of an exhaust... think how a muffler works.
