raced a friend's '04 with pulley CAI, exhaust and tune (440whp/480wtq) from a 55 kick and me with a 3.23 gear... held door to door with him till we lifted at 130mph... kind figured he'd walk me in the top end (blower car+ mph= seeing tailights) but he didn't

Yes about same on both. He was having problems. some thign about shifting..or lack of
BTW He is a good guy. He broke and axle on the next pass and we towed it here to the shop to fix it

i didnt say i blew it outta the ****** water. I pulled about 1/2 car on him, we stopped at the end of 4th gear.

i have beaten up on both of my friends Cobra's, his 04 and then his 05 after he got rid of the 04, his only had exhaust and cold air. he got walked.

My buddy has an '03 Cobra with a pully, exhaust, throttle body, and cold-air intake, and he made 447hp to the ground. If I was to race him in my '97 Z28 with headers, cold-air intake, SLP loudmouth, 3200 stall pro-torque converter, sub-frames, ET streets, and a 175-shot of nitrous, should I be able to beat him? Because he really thinks he would beat me. I think I know what would happen, but for ***** and giggles I wanna hear it from someone else.

i beat a stock '03 in my t/a. i had headers, catback, cai, hypertech, 160, 3.42's, and lightened 200 lbs. we went on the street from a roll at about 20-75 and i got the kick and stayed a nose ahead to 75. he shifted well, but i wasnt gonna wait for that supercharger to start pulling in his 4th gear.

Ran against a stock(i think) from like a 45 mph roll...hung with him for about a second, then he just walked me....that was before my exhaust cut-out, he better watch out now
