Default what a pain!!

well i just spent the last 2 days workin on my 96 TA i replaced the water pump even thou the only thing wrong with it was the gasket wore out. then today i put on my ASP underdrive pulley which took longer than it should have cuz the had to cut about 1/4 of in. off then the belt they sent me was TOO long... but end the end i got it together! ya for me!

cut off what? and the waterpump shoulda taken about 30 minutes...

yea what did you cut of the pulley? and I hope you didnt get your opti too wet cause that would be a pain in the *** to have to replace after redoing the gaskets on the water pump.

Waterpump took me 2.5 hours the first time. Now I can do it in an hour tops. Watch when you modify a pully because you dont want something out of balance bolted to your crank. No offense, but please re-read your sentences before you post so people can better understand what you are trying to say.

sorry what i cut off was some of the bolt it was to long and would have hit the opti. yea it took me 2 hours just to get the water pump out. and about a hour to get it back in. lucky for me the opti was just fine. the only thing with the pulleys it that at an idle with the lights on there dim till i start to accelerate then they bighten up

You need the pulley for alternator as well. Pulleys dont really give us much gain due to the fact of our waterpump being cam driven.

i do have the alturnater pulley that came with the kit on there
