Default Newbe question about the T56 shifters

Hello everyone, just got a 96 LT1 with T56. Have been reading a lot about teh threads on modifying them. I actually had a question on whether or not anyone has used the Short throw shifters offered on Ebay for like $50-70, from companies liek Tuning Sport, T2, Ace Sports? They are not B&M or Hurst, but will they actually work the same or last at all? Wanted to know before I got one.
Any replies will be appreciated.

Pro 5.0 here. You get this and you will feel 100% improvement over stock feel and shift.
