Default Who Is Best For a LT1 Custom Grind Cam?

I am thinking of getting a custom ground cam that will compliment my setup more. Who do you guys suggest to be the best around for this task? Let me know! Any help is appreciated.

SDZ- i also went with Bret, but i was considering going with a Joe O. grind as well. either one you choose will likely give you the results your looking for. a friend of mine has the exact same setup as you, do you have any times?

Thanks for all of the replies. I have no times yet. I am hoping for 11.60's-11.80's on motor and somewhere in the 10's on a 150 shot. I am getting it dyno tuned by a guy in Jacksonville named Tony Bishop as soon as I can get up the money. Does anyone have the contacts for Bret Bauer or Joe O.?

SStrokerAce is Bretts screen name on most the forums.

Joe Overton has a website you can contact him at.

I did a quick search and couldn't find an actual website for Joe Overton. But what I did find shows me that he his good with the lt1's and could set me up with a perfect cam for my setup. I just need a way to contact him. If anyone has some contact information let me know.

I dont have his info anymore. He is a very busy person. I met him at Thunder 03'......very nice guy. I tried to use him a few years ago but he never would return my emails. Had to go elsewhere. Ended up finding Harold at PortPros!!

Same here. That's where my 396 LT4 is being built right now. Once we finish the heads and get flow numbers, Harold and I will deliberate about the bumpstick.

Goodluck trying to get a hold of him, his web site is Leathal EFI or somthing like that. I was told he wasnt' doing cams anymore. He's very hard to get in contact of at least that's the problem that I had.

Joe is very hard to get a hold of. The Lethal EFI's website hasn't been up for a while. The phone number I have for him is from when I did business with him. It's his work number (Accel), but he can still talk business. You can give it a shot: (804) 598-9261. Last I heard though, he wasn't doing cams anymore, but you never know. Also, I don't think he grinds 'custom' cams. I'm pretty sure he designed a few (custom back in the day, for customers) that worked really well and will set you up with the one that fits your needs the closest. There are others that have the same exact cam that I have. Erson grinds his cams (billet), and I think the price was like $350 a couple of years ago. www.AdvancedInduction.com , www.cammotion.com , ect. can help as well. HTH
