A quick and easy question for you LT1 guys
Its our spark distributor. The main problem is if it gets wet, it can fail, and placed behind the water pump, it sometimes gets wet.And you are correct, LSx engines have individual coil packs iirc?

Correct, its a camshaft position sensor and a distributor in one. Like they said it likes to get oil in it and the BRILLIANT GM engineers put it underneath a waterpump that likes to fail and weep through the weep hole onto it
But alas, MSD has saved us(for those who can afford it). I went through 5 Opti's before having no problems with my MSD. Trending Topics
