Difference(s) b/t LT1 vs. LT4
I have the LT4 intake, hotcam and LT4 heads. So, can I buy an LT1 cam? What's the major differences b/t the two, and what parts can you mix and match??

After further review, my ride is an LT1 w/ LT4 mods. An LT4 "clone" I guess you could say. Here's a question. I want to get a bigger cam. Maybe comp's 236/242 .560/.580 112LSA. I will undoubtably have to spin the hell out of the engine to see max power. Being an LT1, I don't have dual front mass dampeners or the specially machined crankshaft. Not just in light of that, but is it not so great to push the engine to rpms possibly in excess of 6500. Obviously high rpms won't ever be really good for an engine. But will that big of a cam be too large for my setup?
P.S. sorry, this is a repeat of my thread started earlier.
