Rated at 275HP, 325TQ from the factory, they run high 13s to bottom 14s stock, full bolt ons they can get in to the 12s. I dont really care about dyno numbers, espically autos with stalls, wont dyno impresive numbers.

A 3,200+ is fine. I would stay above 3,000 though.

Your going to hear this alot, but converters don't kill your gas mileage. That heavy foot will.

I wouldn't go over 3000 in an LT1 car. The Yank SY3000 that's in my 94Z is just about perfect for me. My ST3500 was way too loose. It got annoying with the engine revving up all the time. I'd say a Vig 2800 or SY3000. That'll also keep you out of the vehicle speed sensor signal trouble zone.

IMO the vigilantes are well matched to specific setups and are completely driveable. I had a vig 3600 back when I was still messing with the 4L60 and stock motor. With the blower it was really nice. Being that converters for these transmissions are lockup style, your gas mileage wont change much for the highway. But you'll see a small change in city driving due to the converter not locking in 1st or 2nd gear driving normally.
Once the converter locks it will drive like stock.
