Call Comp and ask, I tried to look up the cam card online but I got an error saying to call for specs. The cam card will include spring recommendations

Seat load with these springs is 165 @ 1.800, a little bit too much for stock lifters. The recomended springs for the CC306 is 986, other spring like the 987 and 918 will work.

918's can more then handle a cc306, but you need NSA rockers.

has to do with the retainer and locks, the valve stem tip will not be high enough on a stock valve to be able to be aligned with the rocker. There are tabs that extend on each side past the roller tip and thats how a Self Aligning (SA) works, with NSA, you use guideplated and hardened pushrods.

I have never owned Pro Mags SA but I have owned GMPP 1.6's SA and Pro Mag NSA, the GMPP had nothing to align them selves on there is no stem tip other then 1/8" above the retainers. The Tabs on the side would hit before the roller tip would hit the top of the valvestem,

Hey Matt94z28, post a pic of your rocker and spring, id like to see how Comp Cam has them done up.

Over all though NSA is more stable valvetrain wise when you get extreme lobe ramps, and high cam lift, it keeps it stable from 6k+ rpms
